I was a member of two vegan groups in Denver. We had potlucks, Pop Up markets with vegan vendors, and some plant based cooking demonstrations.

What happened in your life to bring about your interest in the veg/vegan lifestyle.

I lived in the country outside of Silt and walked by cows, deer and elk each day with my dogs. I decided then that I didn't need to eat them to survive. Digestion, and the movie Food, Inc. convinced me to give up the rest of the animal products. It's a matter of principle, and the feeling that all living beings deserve to be loved.

I have been a vegan for five years. I gave up eating mammals ten years ago, and after watching Food, Inc. I gave up all poultry and fish. I just moved back to the Western Slope after living in Denver for five years, and I'm thrilled to join!
