What we’re about
Hello and welcome! VegMichigan Metro Detroit is your source for all things plant-based in the Metro Detroit area. We post plant-based events, highlight local businesses and restaurants, and share the latest news about the plant-based lifestyle. Whether you're fully plant-based, vegetarian, veg-curious, or looking to support veg friends and family, all are welcome to join this group and attend our events. Hope to see you soon!

A visit to Taste of Ethiopia is more than just trying out a new restaurant. Taste of Ethiopia is like visiting family. Family that embraces your individuality and accommodates your requests. You'll find plenty of vegan options on the menu. Made with natural, whole ingredients.
You're welcome to take your meal communally or individually. Eat with Injera (Ethiopian flatbread) or with a fork. Choose rice instead of Injera. And after dinner, enjoy traditional Ethiopian coffee with vegan cheesecake.
Everyone is welcome at VegMichigan Meetups, but we do ask that you enjoy a vegan meal while attending our events. We hope you are able to join us!
