Come learn how to cook inexpensive, plant-based meals straight out of the produce section with famous TV actor and plant-based chef Marley Ficalora! He will be demoing food out of his meal planners and answering any questions. He has been on a plant-based diet his whole life and cooks unprocessed, gf, & vegan food with no added oils! Please come and bring a dish to share with a large crowd. There will be raffles and prizes to give away!
Please join us for an evening of seeing others and being seen, an evening of deep authentic connection. We want a small, intimate group (max of 12 participants). Please RSVP early to reserve your spot Our Vision is for a community (& ultimately, a world) in which we relate more deeply, authentically, compassionately, and vulnerably with ourselves and others. We wish to co-create a container of emotional safety, so we will share a space in which we can open our hearts, see one another, and take care of each other We hope this event will help each of us to connect & continue to build a community while we learn develop skills that will enable us to: * Connect more deeply and authentically * Develop presence and greater awareness of what is going on inside us and motivating us from moment to moment * Learn to move away from judgments of right and wrong and accept & become curious about others * Deepen our awareness of how what we say and do impacts others * Create a safe space when we interact with people in our lives * Allow ourselves to be vulnerable enough to deepen connection and intimacy WHAT WE WILL DO We will form a circle & some participants will take turns on the "love seat." The person on the love seat will share about her/himself while the rest of the participants allow ourselves to notice what it's like being with this person moment to moment. We hopeto become curious and celebrate who he/she is, the challenges she/he is facing and what he/she is experiencing. Those in the circle will ask questions that allow the person in the love seat space for reflection, deep self exploration, emotional expression, and a chance to be seen, heard, and appreciated. This is very similar to the practice of "Authentic Relating Circling." It is a practice we hope will allow us to go beyond assumptions and become aware of what arises within the group and within each of us as we share our inner worlds WHO THIS IS FOR Anyone who would like to build a heart centered community and deepen their relationships & is willing: - to self-reflect and share your inner experience with people - to support self and others in meeting needs for compassion and respect - to lean into the edge of growth and learning PROGRAM: Please arrive on time.
