"Compassion into Action" - Guest speaker & activist Anthony Marr, after potluck

World-renowned animal rights activist, environmentalist, wildlife preservationist, author and speaker, Anthony Marr, who is currently on his "48-States-in-7-Months" speaking tour with his wife Shannon White, will be speaking in Livingston, following the Live and Let Livingston potluck. Their presentation Compassion into Action, will be followed by a Q&A session.
Anthony Marr is a regular speaker at the annual Animal Rights National Conference, and in 2010 he was presented with the Grassroots Activist Award “for his outstanding contribution in animal liberation.”
He has a degree in physics and has written two books.
Anthony is the founder of Global Anti-Hunting Coalition, and has led campaigns against the hunting of animals all over the world. His work in India garnered him the title of “Champion of the Bengal Tiger” in the TV series “Champions of the Wild” aired on Discovery Channel and Animal Planet.
This presentation is just one stop in Anthony and Shannon's 48-States-in-7-Months speaking tour “Honeymoon of HOPE” (Heal Our Planet Earth). The two recently wed in Lake Tahoe and are now traveling the country, to make the world a better place for people and for animals.
