What is the most difficult hike you have ever done?

Mt Shavano in Colorado. Maybe down Kibab trail and up Bright Angel in one day in November. It started at 25 degrees and it warmed to 81 and after the 17 miles it cooled down to 40.

How did you get started hiking, or what has gotten you back in to it?

Can't run any more and hiking is great rehab after my knee surgery. Wished I had been doing this since I got here.

Where is the most scenic place you've ever hiked or camped?

Olympic national forest in Washington is amazing. The rainforest and rivers are amazing when shrouded in fog and mist.

Where would you most like the group to go on an outing?

Doesn't matter but what about valley of fire.

Why are you joining VegasHikers?

Meet new people who do positive things.

I've been doing two to three hikes each week. Love to scramble.
