Her art journey began with collage and moved through seasons of acrylic and watercolor. Linda has worked with encaustic and mixed media for the last thirteen years. Her contemporary work brings narratives to life’s fault lines. She works primarily on cradled wood panels using layer upon layer of bee’s wax and resin which can include up to 30 other media. Her work has been shown throughout California as well as Dallas and Santa Fe. Linda is an award-winning artist and dedicated member of the Sacramento art community. Her work moves from abstract to surreal, achieving an overall detailed, sometimes solitary storyline.
