Join us to hear from our expert panel of employers from a few of the top Fortune 500 companies. Including EY, GE and others. VetsinTech supports our current and returning veterans with re-integration services, and by connecting them to the national technology ecosystem. ViT is committed to bringing together a tech-specific network, resources, and programs for our veterans interested in Education, Entrepreneurship, and Employment – the 3E’s!

6:45 - 7:30 pm: This month's panel will include speakers from GE, EY and Google.

Topics will focus on Employment - How do you find, apply and excel at a job in a Fortune 500 company? Come learn from our panel on how they did it and how you can too.

• Monte Babington is a Manager in the Financial Services Advisory practice of Ernst & Young LLP, focusing on the development and implementation of technology and process solutions to operational challenges. Since joining Ernst & Young in 2010 he has been at the forefront of technical solution development, including a browser-based SaaS tool to validate US Tax Forms currently deploying globally. Prior to Ernst and Young, Monte served as a Captain leading a reconnaissance unit in the US Army’s 10th Mountain Division.

• Tom Roe began work at GE Capital in May 2014, as the External Loss Data Program Manager. In this position, Tom identifies, and analyzes loss data and events in peer organizations that may materialize in GE Capital in support of the Capital Plan and risk mitigation.

• Marissa Gregory is a Technical Sales Recruiter at Google. She's worked to hire world class talent to Google over the past 4.5 years. She earned her MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and her JD from Tulane University.

• Matt Halper has nearly 5 years of recruiting experience in the greater NYC area. Over the last year, Matt has been recruiting Software Engineers at Google for their quickly growing Chelsea office. Matt started his career in recruiting as a civilian recruiter for the US Army.

8:45 pm: Final announcements before ending at 9pm.
