Awaken through Videos, Dialogue and the Stillness of Nature
There will be two sessions at the Centre in Metchosin: from 11 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 4 pm. You are welcome to attend one or both. In the morning we present videos with a well-known teacher of self-inquiry, self-awareness and non-duality. The afternoon session will include Q&As with leading spiritual teachers on aspects of daily living of interest to participants, as well as guest presenters from time to time. There will also be opportunities for dialogue, refreshments and a stroll along the beautiful nature trails on the Centre grounds. By donation. If you attend both sessions, please bring your own lunch. For more information, please see www.krishnamurti-canada.ca .

What we're about

We aim to provide a supportive space for self-exploration and for questioning conditioned thoughts, beliefs and assumptions that prevent clear seeing of 'what is' and who we truly are. Such an inquiry can help bring about transformative insight and a new way of living.

Meetups take place on a beautiful 32 acre ocean-front property in Metchosin, as well as in Victoria in three different locations:

- the Church of Truth in James Bay, on first Fridays of the month, from 7 - 9 pm
- the Monterey Centre in Oak Bay, on second Wednesdays of the month, from 3:30 - 5 pm
- the University of Victoria, on fourth Thursdays of the month, from 4:30 - 6 pm

They generally take the form of video showings and dialogues that may be complemented by readings and silent sitting. We present inspiring non-traditional teachings focusing on spiritual inquiry and awakening, such as those of J. Krishnamurti, Eckhart Tolle, Rupert Spira and others. Sessions in Victoria are offered free of charge, those at the Centre are by donation.

These meetups are sponsored by the Krishnamurti Educational Centre of Canada (KECC), which also organizes weekend group retreats and other events in Metchosin. For more information, see http://www.krishnamurti-canada.ca .
