Writers' Block

Keith Hjortshoj writes: "The term "writer's block" is a false category. People use this term to account for almost any difficulty, delay, or failure to write that seems mysterious, as a label for problems they can't explain or didn't anticipate."

In this session we'll talk about what writer's block is and isn't, and discuss techniques to help. Bring your own story of blocks and challenges and we'll have the group try to figure out something to help you. If you have overcome writer's block, you can also tell your story!

(Note for newcomers: We actually meet in the Atrium, next door, but access is through the coffee shop. If the coffee shop is closed then there is a security guard at the Atrium's Blanshard St entrance who will usually let you in.)
