Reactive Blocks is a visual model-driven development environment supporting formal model analysis, automated code generation, hierarchical modelling, and an extensive library of ready-to-use components for the Java platform. Visual application development makes it easier to grasp a complex application at a glance. This eases the interaction between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This Virtual IoT meetup introduces you to the possibilities of visual development of IoT solutions. We will show how the formal analysis of the application can help you to develop stateful applications. We will also demonstrate how you can use the state-space animation to better understand the behaviour of an application. We will quickly implement an application for the Eclipse Kura platform and will also show how to deploy it to your IoT gateway.

Tim Jagenberg studied aerospace engineering at the University of Stuttgart. He received a doctoral degree in computer aided engineering from the Department of Computer Integrated Design of the Technical University of Darmstadt. After his move to Norway he worked as a researcher for Marintek, SINTEF, developing computer aided engineering solutions. Now he is contributing his expertise in engineering processes, software development, and embedded electronics to our team at Bitreactive.
