VR.LAB #1 : Web VR Workshop

Hi everyone,

Join us for the 1st VR.LAB !
During this Meetup we can demonstrate/experience each others VR creations and be prepared for the VRhackathon 2016.
Furthermore during this meetup there will be a workshop about WebVR.
The participation fee is : 10 € except for the hackathon participants ( money is for the meeting room !! )

SCHEDULE

WebVR Workshop ( 10 places limit ) :

13:30 : Users arrival.

14:00 : Welcome and small presentation of the VR.LAB : Fabien Benetou

14:05 : Introduction of the WebVR workshop and giving instructions to begin

14:15 : Workshop start

• 1> introduction to 3D on the web (ThreeJS, TweenJS, etc)

• 2> from 3D to VR (webVR boilerplate, stereoeffect)

• 3> webVR specific interactions (look to activate, raycasting)

• 4> collaboration (websockets)

• 5> going further (good practices in UX, custom made solutions, community, etc)

17:00 : Test webVR demos users built.

18:00: End.
