In this presentation we will briefly discuss the development of a web service in .NET Core for deployment in the cloud before we talk about packaging it in a cloud-agnostic container, and a few of the ways you can deploy it to Azure.
I'll demonstrate creating containers for .NET development, and how to work with them in Visual Studio or VS Code, and we'll look at a simple web service running in a container.
With our web service working, we'll walk through the different ways you can deploy container based apps on Azure, including Azure Kubernetes Service (formerly Azure Container Service), Azure Container Instances, Azure Service Fabric, and Web App for Containers.
