Visual Thinking Copenhagen #6 - hosted by SimCorp - CHRISTMAS EDITION

The goal of the meetup is to explore together the world of visual thinking - the different ways to think, solve problems and communicate. When we meet we draw and sketch together, learn new tricks, sharing our knowledge and experience with each other, socialize and meet new people and of course, we have lots of fun!

You do not need to be an artist or an accomplished drawer to join. If you like doodling and believe that communicating visually is effective and fun – just come and join us! We will get you up to speed!

The meetup lasts 3 full hours from 16:00 to 19:00.

This is going to be a CHRISTMAS EDITION, therefore let's create a special spirit for such an occasion. Feel free to come up with your own way! :-)

The agenda is loosely along these lines:

• Meet and greet. Introduction from our host.
• Warm-up exercise - help each other get into the sketching zone, explore new tricks of drawing simply and fast.
• Co-create a wall of sticky notes. This is the signature part of our community, we even now have a hashtag for it - #postitwall :D And since it is soon Christmas time, the theme will be well.. Christmas!
• Short visual storytelling exercise. Facilitated by Yuri.
• Masterclass on creating bespoke visual thinking templates. In this 45-minute module Ia Brix Ohmann (https://www.linkedin.com/in/iabrix/) will guide us through the process of creating a visual template as a visual aid for your workshop or a training.
• Maryanne Kmit (https://www.linkedin.com/in/maryanne-kmit-619aab/) will share a story how SimCorp is incorporating Liberating Structures (http://www.liberatingstructures.com/) and visual thinking into their process of creating digital products.
