Volunteers for Change Orientation (Nov 20)
**To register use this link ( (accepting the invite on MeetUp does not automatically sign you up for this event). Thanks!** Volunteers for Change, a volunteer program for busy professionals, students, stay-at-home moms/dads or anyone with limited time, is holding orientations for interested community members. This program features a flexible calendar of fun weekend and weekday evening projects to fit busy schedules. Once you attend a one-time, one-hour orientation you are invited to participate in any of 50+ projects a month. If you are seeking community service hours for any kind of legal matter (court ordered OR attorney recommended), please contact Volunteer Fairfax at [masked] or[masked]. VFC opportunities may not be used for court related service needs. Projects range from helping at dog adoption events, bagging food for homeless families, playing bingo with Veterans, as well as various special community wide events throughout the year, and much more. The program is a great way for volunteers to meet new people and become better connected to their community. In terms of commitment we ask that you volunteer once within 6 months of attending the orientation.
