This will be our very first Calopia (http://calopia.org/) event so we hope you can join us! Calopia events are inspirational gatherings that bring together people looking for volunteers with people looking for a cause. See video below:

Here are the details:

There is a small fee of $5 to help cover the cost of the room booking. You don't need a PayPal account, just look for the option to pay with a credit card when you RSVP (Yes) for this event.
The format for this inspirational event will include 3 minute presentations from 10 speakers followed by mix and mingle where you can chat with presenters and other people who are looking for a cause.
Please note, if you RSVP online then you will need to arrive at least 5 minutes before the start time of the event in order to guarantee your spot.
This event will take place in the Alma VanDusen room at the Vancouver Public Library, 350 West Georgia St (https://goo.gl/maps/NBNxGetDw7A2). You can access the room by the stairs right before the inner entrance to the library. If you cannot find the room then please ask for directions at the information desk as they will be aware of our event. The entrance to the parking garage is on Hamilton Street (near Robson Street).
This event will be hosted by Glen Brauer (http://glenbrauer.com/) who is also the founder and coordinator of The Meaningful Discussions Project (http://www.meaningfuldiscussions.org/).
If you are a presenter then you don't need to RSVP to this event since your seat will be reserved.
