New Year Mini Hackathon
We want to start off into the new year doing what we love the most: building things with Vue! That's why we're organising a small hackathon happening on January 10th. We'll start a bit earlier than usual so that there's enough time for the hacking. The topic is pretty open: the projects have to be implemented using Vue and must fit into the tight timeline; you'll have until 10pm to finish your projects. This is not too much but Vue makes it possible to quickly build fully functioning prototypes. Always had that little idea floating around in your mind that you've never gotten around to build? Great, bring it here and see if you find people willing to hack on it with you. No idea yet? Also cool: join someone with an idea or brainstorm something with others. You don't need to be a professional Vue developer to participate. Heck, you don't need to be a developer at all! Just bring your experiences and ideas and especially your joy of creating cool things. The setting will be very cozy: there'll be coffee, beer, soft drinks and snacks to get you through the evening. At 10pm you'll have the chance to demonstrate your project and show others what you built. We will also showcase those projects on the official cyon blog (https://www.cyon.ch/blog) - unless you don't want that of course. Have a great Christmas time and see you next year! PS: If you already have an idea and want to introduce it to other attendees, feel free to do so in the comment section of this event.

    What we're about

Vue Basel is a group of developers who are working with (or just interested in) the Vue.js framework. We're meeting regularly to talk about our experiences and show off cool projects we've done.

This is a great place to meet like-minded people and learn more about Vue!

We're always looking for people who want to give a talk about an interesting project or also just on how they're using Vue at their company or their personal project. This is also a great opportunity to give your first talk at a meetup in a small group of people and gain some experience.

We strictly follow Conference Code of Conduct ( http://confcodeofconduct.com ). Meetups are usually hosted at cyon ( https://www.cyon.ch ).
