Introduction to Vue-rx - Remote!

Online event

ℹ️ About An introduction to vue-rx (https://github.com/vuejs/vue-rx) by building an animated drag-down-to-refresh feature inside of a Vue application. The talk will include a brief introduction to RxJS and observables, the benefits of using vue-rx to incorporate RxJS into Vue SFCs, and a walk through of Ben Lesh's canonical Rx example the mobile app drag-down-to-refresh feature using Vue and Vueitfy. Speakers: - Daren McCulley 📆 Schedule 6:30PM - 7:30PM: Introduction to vue-rx 7:30PM - 8:30PM: Open discussion 🖥 Remote Details We will be using Zoom to host the event, and all attendees will be able to join, watch the panelists, and ask any questions they'd like to during the Q&A. This is our first fully-remote Meetup, and we're excited to discover what opportunities it brings for anyone & everyone to attend. Zoom Link: https://zoom.us/j/132806071 When clicking the above link, you'll be prompted to download Zoom if you haven't previously used it. If you don't want to download the application, you can also use the web client, which works best in Chrome. Once in the Zoom meeting, we ask that you: * mute your audio when not speaking * use chat features to ask questions as they come up (Zoom has a "raise your hand" feature to indicate when you have a question - this will be especially helpful during Q&A) Finally, the Meeting capacity will be plenty large for all attendees - feel free to invite any of your Vue friends who can't normally attend in-person! We just ask that people RSVP to the Meetup here in advance. Questions? Please email [masked] and we'll be happy to help with whatever we can!
