Creating a Modern Web App Using Vue.js and Spring Boot with JHipster

Theo Lebrun from Ippon USA will demonstrate how JHipster can be used to generate in few minutes a modern Web app that uses Vue.js. JHipster will provide everything you need to start a complete modern Web app and take it to production in a very short amount of time. Theo Lebrun is a Technical Manager and Software Engineer with Ippon Technologies in NYC, bringing several years of experience across application development, cloud, and data solutions.

His skills diversify among Java / Spring full stack development (especially within JHipster), to AWS cloud with two certifications, to data with expertise in Kafka, EMR and Spark.

Outside of IT, he is an avid sports fan and loves to travel.

When clicking the above link, you'll be prompted to download Zoom if you haven't previously used it. If you don't want to download the application, you can also use the web client, which works best in Chrome.

Once in the Zoom meeting, we ask that you:

• mute your audio when not speaking
• use chat features to ask questions as they come up (Zoom has a "raise your hand" feature to indicate when you have a question - this will be especially helpful during Q&A)

Finally, the Meeting capacity will be plenty large for all attendees - feel free to invite any of your Vue friends who can't normally attend in-person! We just ask that people RSVP to the Meetup here in advance.
