Details

Do you want to learn about the popular front end framework "Vue.js" from the best software engineers? We invite you to our Meetup to discover how to test with Vue.js and how to incorporate WebAssembly into a Vue.js project. There will be free drinks and food!

17:00 – 18:00 Welcome with drinks and snacks
18:00 – 18:15 Introduction to WebAssembly and integration within a Vue.js project by Rodrigo Hammerly from Blue Harvest
18:15 – 18:30 Tips and tricks for testing with Vue.js by Mick van Vliet from Aer Software
18:30 – 20:00 Free food and drinks

Our front end expert, Rodrigo Hammerly, will give his talk about the basis of WebAssembly development, and he will show how it can be integrated into a Vue.js project. Besides, Mick van Vliet from Aer Software will give his talk about the why, what and how of testing. Why is it so important to test or automate your tests? What can you test; end-to-end or unit tests? Lastly, how can this be implied in Vue.js?

Speaker: Mick van Vliet
Mick is a self-taught software developer with a background in marketing. He has been working on multiple Vue.js projects at Aer Software Solutions, such as an AR application for art and a sales platform. In the last couple of months, Mick has focused on implementing automated testing for Aer.

Speaker: Rodrigo Hammerly
Rodrigo is a full-stack developer at Blue Harvest and he is proficient in several programming languages. He has worked in wide range of projects ranging from low-level device drivers and mobile development in iOS and Android to complex web applications. After a couple of years of developing mobile middleware libraries he is back to the front-end landscape. He is exploring how to integrate the best of low-level development with the latest of the front end technologies.
