The aim of the group is to go on medium length walks and hikes around London's Green Spaces and Waterways, and the surrounding countryside and costal seaside towns. We aim to find some amazing places and sights off the beaten track and end up afterwards in a great pub!
From 01/01/25 each walk costs only £5 to attend.
Members holding the coveted KEN'S EVENTS CARD can attend all walks on this group for free!

Beautiful Lavender Fields!!
Join us for a Saturday afternoon circular walk from Belmont Railway Station (Travelcard Zone 5) , through the northern edge of Banstead Common to the MAYFIELD LAVENDER FIELDS before returning to Belmont Railway Station (please note that there is an entry charge of £7.50 payable to the Mayfield Lavender Farm to enter the lavender fields).
Give up the city streets for a day and breathe some fresh air. Improve your overall fitness levels.

All of the walks on this group are only £5 each to attend. Payment is not collected before the day of the event to allow you maximum flexibility. Please note that there is an additional charge (optional) to enter the lavender fields payable direct to the lavender farm.
The walk itself is free for holders of the Ken's Events Membership Card.Please note that this is a joint event with Kens Events.

This walk is about 5.5 miles in total and will finish back at Belmont Station,
There will be a one hour stay at the lavender fields.
Please note the earlier than usual start at 11.00am.

DISTANCE: Approx 5.5 miles.
STOP OUT POINT: You may decide to stay longer at the Lavender Fields and get a bus back.Please note that the walk will be continuous with no stops and it is your responsibilty to keep walkers ahead in view and to follow the direction of the walk.
Meet up outside Belmont Railway Station at 11.00am. Look for Ken with the Meetup Badge outside the station

Today's afternoon walk is from Belmont Railway Station (Travelcard Zone 5), through the northern edge of Banstead Common to the beautiful Mayfield Lavender Fields and Oaks Park (please note that there is an optional entry charge of £5 payable to the Mayfield Lavender Farm to enter the lavender fields). We will break and stay at the lavender fields for one hour.

This walk is about 6.5 miles and will finish at a pub near Wallington Station. Trains to Clapham Junction, London Victoria and London Bridge are available from Wallington Station.
Get out, explore and enjoy London's abundant green spaces and surprising surrounding countryside, whilst making new friends in a group walk!! Give up the city streets for a day and breathe some fresh air. Improve your overall fitness levels, whilst chatting to new people during the walk and afterwards in a pub.
Visit green parts of London and its surrounds, unknown to most people, and that you would not otherwise have an opportunity to see.

Beautiful Lavender Fields!!
A scenic walk in the Kent Countryside from the pretty village of Shoreham to the pretty village of Eynsford, steeped in history, encompassing Lavender Fields, Lullingstone Castle, Eynsford Castle, a Roman Villa, the river Darent and a beautiful country pub.
WALK DISTANCE: Approx 6.5
miles.WALK START: Shoreham Station (Kent). Trains are available from Victoria Station in Central London. Journey time is approx 35 minutes. You can get a day return ticket for approximately £14 (£9.50 with network/rail card and even much less if you also have a travel card). We finish the walk at Eynsford which is on the same line as Otford and Shoreham and nearer to London. Trains back to London from Eynsford are available at half hour intervals.
