What we’re about
Less than a fifth of technical roles are held by women in part due to fewer women joining STEM fields, and in large part due to many women leaving. Our goal is to bring women technologists together so they can share their experiences with others, connect, and stay inspired! <br>
What we will do within the Gainesville area: <br>• Attract people of all genders who are supportive of gender equality in the workplace <br>• Hold meetups, talks, and other events targeting women at different stages in their career in order to advise, be a sounding board, or just connect <br>• Hold community events targeting technology interested youth <br>• Provide an environment where everyone is able to share their stories, safely <br>• Work with all aspects of technology-focused groups and companies from developers and testers to COOs and CEOs.
