A Special Gathering of Geeks / WCSFA Summer BBQ Picnic

It's time for another Gathering of Geeks, this time in conjunction with the Annual WCSFA Summer BBQ, the purpose of which is to bring all and sundry together in a casual and relaxing environment for a day of food, conversation and other outdoor pastimes.

Event will be held, RAIN OR SHINE!

Also, the end time is approximate - if people are still enjoying themselves and don't want to head out we can keep it going past 3 PM

Bring your blankets, camp chairs, sun-canopies, sun-umbrellas and whatever else you like to the southeast end of Trout Lake in John Hendry Park in Vancouver and hang out with members of the WCSFA Board, the VCON 43 ConCom, and other members of our community. This is a great opportunity to meet with the people responsible for planning VCON and also to learn about ways you can help us spread the word or even volunteer.

Hot dogs, hamburgers (including vegi- and non-beef options) and some beverages will be available by donation but we also encourage everyone to bring snacks to share and anything they'd like to BBQ for themselves.

We plan to have the WCSFA Game Library available and suggest you bring along your favourite board, card and dice games or even your Switches.

Cosplayers are also very much welcome! (There might even be prizes, who knows....)
