The Whole Food Plant Based diet is a healthier, happier, more environmentally conscious way of eating. This diet as been shown to improve multiple health conditions including hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and immune strength. There is also significant weight loss with eating a plant- based diet. This meet- up is intended for people interested in WFPB, who would like to discuss the diet, gather resources, share recipes. We will also do potlucks where people can make and bring WFPB dishes to share. Dr. Nicole Hemkes is a Family physician who follows and recommends WFPB and facilitates the group. Everyone is welcome!
