PANEL: CAREER TRENDS IN ANALYTICS, OR, IE, and CONSULTING with Job Networking

Details
What are the latest directions in the analytics job market? How are those trends emerging in teaching, practice and professional training? What are the implications of the emerging analytics trend, and what does this entail? What do employers look for in applicants, and what kinds of opportunities present the best long term prospects? What kinds of additional skills are most needed now in the new environment? Basic tenets of operations research and industrial engineering are at the heart of the hottest job skills today, yet reflected in a new context. Whether you’re a student or a mid-career professional, working at the center or periphery of analytics, join us for networking and discussion with a variety of DC professionals working in these fields. Panelists from industry, consulting, academia, and government will share their answers to these questions. Join us and send in advance questions for the panel to:
Sandwiches and open networking from 6-6:30 pm. From 6:30 – 7:30 pm, we’ll have a panel on career trends - and how those trends are reflected in both industry and academia.
