This group serves women in the greater Puget Sound area who are looking for networking opportunities and education on cyber security, information security, compliance, and related topics. So far in 2019 we have held one meeting each month, alternating between downtown Seattle and Bellevue / Eastside. We are seeking a corporate sponsor who can help defray meeting costs (snacks) and the meetup fee.
We welcome Seattle/Bellevue/Tacoma-based women or female-identified persons who are currently working in or want to work in cybersecurity and information security. This group will foster education, camaraderie, and opportunities for professional development and will provide a forum to share triumphs and raise awareness of challenges.
We hope that beyond the basic face-to-face meetings, some discussion may take place on the list, or on some adjacent social media. We're open to your ideas!
