Disasters can strike at any time, with or without warning, and with devastating consequences. We've watched our neighboring communities suffer from recent fires, floods, and earthquakes. Yet, even though we all know we should be prepared for the moment disaster strikes us, most of us feel overwhelmed about all the skills we need to have and things we need to do to be "disaster-proof."

Here's your chance to learn how to COPE with a disaster by preparing and responding with your neighbors. Nancy Sands, a co-Worker and City of Petaluma employee, will share info about how Citizens get Organized to Prepare for Emergencies (yes, that's COPE) and provide a list of 5 easy things to do to get ready.

FREE for WORK members (including Friends of WORK!) and $10 at-the-door for Non-WORK Members. Help us keep the lights on and great programs coming your way!

Noon-1 PM in the WORK Library. Feel free to bring a bag lunch.
