Building a great website requires tons of research and planning. But where do you start? Web designers and developers typically start with a requirements gathering process that helps define the site you are about to build: The website's purpose, its features, functionalities, and behavior.
However, the reality is the "normal" requirements gathering process is usually insufficient, regardless of how much effort goes into it. Requirements change, or the client remembers something important that needs to be included. Before you know it, the website's project schedule and budget is at risk.
During this month's Meetup, Garry Fleming will introduce us to the concept of "agile" requirements gathering. The agile process involves all project stakeholders who work together to develop a vision for the high-level details of the website project, brainstorm for features of requirements, break those features down into "user stories," and then define detailed requirements.
Join us to learn the ins and outs—and benefits—of using the agile requirements gathering process in your WordPress projects.
Hope to see you on Thursday, October 25th at DoSpace!
