For this #OnlineWPMeetup, we will have a couple of topics scheduled to kick-off the conversations.

PRESENTATION 1
Talk Title: Web Stories on WordPress
Talk Description: Web Stories are a web-based version of the popular "Stories" format that blend video, audio, images, animation and text to create a dynamic user experience. Released in September 2020, The WordPress plugin brings an editor with a set of story creation capabilities in a user-friendly, WYSIWYG creation tool.

At this talk, we are going to see:

  • The installation process
  • How to create web stories
  • How to verify our web stories
  • Best practices for the creation process

Speaker Name: Fellyph Cintra
Speaker Bio: Fellyph is a Senior Solution Engineer at Deloitte Digital Ireland. A Front-end Developer involved with the WordPress community for more than 8 years. Fellyph has contributed with translations, volunteering and organizing WordCamps in Europe and South America.

PRESENTATION 2
Talk Title: User first with AMP - Improving your website performance
Talk Description: Find out who's using AMP, how to improve your PageSpeed Insights Score and even have to create an AMP version of your site running alongside your non AMP version, in just a few clicks.

Speaker Name: James Ozzie Osborne
Speaker Bio: James comes from a web design background and ran a small web design company and theme club prior to joining the web ecosystem team at Google. Now advocating for better web performance with the AMP team you'll also find him supporting the Google Site Kit plugin on the WordPress support forums.
