WordPress Meetup: Theme development with Timber

The WordPress Helsinki meetup group aims to bring people of all skill levels together, from beginners to WordPress professionals.

On June we will kick off summer with our guest speaker Thomas Hurd from Pixels (https://pixels.fi/en/), who will be sharing his experiences on building templates with Timber. Thomas describes his talk as follows:

The Timber plugin allows developers to create themes using a Twig-based templating language on top of WordPress, but what are the realities of developing WordPress themes using Timber and Twig? In this talk I’ll cover my experiences moving to themes building using Timber and Twig and some of the good and bad things about it.

As you can probably guess, this will be a developer-oriented session but feel more than welcome to join us even if the topic would go a little over your head. There will be plenty of time for discussions before and after the talks!
