WordPress Meetup: Real life accessibility

The WordPress Helsinki meetup group aims to bring people of all skill levels together, from beginners to WordPress professionals.

This month Ronja Oja will give a talk about accessibility from her perspective. She’s a blind accessibility consultant and studies computer science.

Ronja describes her talk as follows:

“Saavutettavassa verkossa jokainen voi toimia yhdenvertaisesti. Mutta mitä se käytännössä tarkoittaa ja kuka siitä oikein hyötyy?”

“Luvassa mm. tapausesimerkkejä hyvistä ja huonoista sivuista, kuvausta erilaisista käyttäjäryhmistä sekä vinkkejä, miten saada sivuista helposti saavutettavia kaikille.”

As you might have guessed, the talk will be in Finnish, but you’ll be able to ask questions in English and there will be plenty of time for discussions before and after the talk.
