What we're about

Greetings to all cyclists, family and friends! That includes you!

Welcome to Outspok’n for MS. We are a group of ladies and gents that ride to create a world free of Multiple Sclerosis!

Our team has grown, raising close to $300,000 in the last eight years! Now we need your help. Why join you ask? It’s a great cause that is fun and challenging. Most importantly….BECAUSE YOU CAN!

We are inviting you to register ASAP, no matter what your level of riding is now. Join us for prepping rides to be in tip top shape. That includes those of you who are on the couch right now and frowning, not sure if this is for you. You will succeed because we have rides, help in fundraising and the coolest jerseys to wear! We always have a blast.

If you are currently signed up for the ride, Thank YOU! Because of your hard work, we are celebrating our 8th year as the Top Fundraising Team for New Mexico’s Bike MS. Last year we raised over $50,000.

If you are interested in joining our group, contact one of our co-captains, Patti Miller at 505-220-8981 or Joanie Griffin at 505-261-4444 or Mindi Horwitch at 505-235-7388.

Bike MS 2017 is starting to gear up!

Hello everyone, and welcome to the 2017 edition of Outspok'n for MS prep rides for Bike MS! The MS Society hired a new leader recently, a gentleman by the name of Ron Guerrero. He is very familiar with Bike MS, and he has a lot of experience and a lot of positive energy. One of his goals for this year's ride is to recruit 122 new riders, so if you know anyone who wants to do the ride this year, or even someone who doesn't yet know that they want to do it, get in touch with them and bring them into the fold! Make sure they join the meetup page, so they can receive these emails. The MS website should be up by this coming Monday. You should get an email to that effect from the MS Society at some point. From a team standpoint, we have begun planning the rides for this year. We are planning on starting the rides on June 3rd. We will be riding every Saturday except for Saturday July 1st. The first thing we're going to need is ride leaders. If you are interested in leading a ride, please send an e-mail to Matt Sherwood ([masked]) with the dates you are available. We are going to try and have a 'Train the Ride Leaders' session, which is tentatively scheduled for Saturday May 6th. More on that is we flesh it out. I hope to see everyone on the road soon!

Scheduling some Autumn rides!
Needs a date and time

Needs a location

Hi everybody! We're going to be posting some Autumn fun rides in this space very shortly. In doing so, we ask one favor of each of you. Please RSVP either way to the ride. This accomplishes a couple of things: 1) It gives the ride organizers a good idea of who is coming. 2) It may convince someone to join the ride if they know who and how many are coming. If you want to change your RSVP, do the following: go to the meetup page scroll down to the ride it will give a count of who is going and who is not going Click on the word 'going' On the right-hand side, it will give a list of who is going Just above the list, it shows your RSVP status, and gives you the opportunity to change it Thank you for your assistance, and we hope to see you out on the road!
