What are you using for automation in your environment? In my environment we have been starting to leverage Ansible Tower by Red Hat. I'm not a Linux guy but after the initial install of Ansible Tower, it's just a web interface so not a lot of Linux skills are required.

Ansible Tower allows me to start and stop service, power off physical servers, reboot vms, power off and power on VM's, deploy to Azure and a ton of other things.

In this presentation I'll show how quickly and easily you can deploy Ansible in Azure and start automating workloads.
