Halloween Potluck

Looks like Saturday's going to be a lovely day. The party is on!

Come join us for our first ever Halloween Bash at Miller-Knox Regional Shoreline. After we've secured the picnic area, we'll do a short hike. Volunteers are needed to start the bbq, cook, organize and/or help clean up. All dogs on leash in the picnic area for safety reasons (and park rules!).

Costumes appreciated, but optional. [Please make sure costumes are safe for the dog and the dog doesn't overheat!]

P.S. If your dog comes dressed as a hotdog, some dogs may bite! Yes, that's right...I'm talking about you, Kimchi >(

Please sign up for what you're going to bring at this link: Potluck Signup (Meal Coordinator: brichta, Password: ghost)

RSVP's not accepted until 10/16.

The food and drinks were terrific. It was nice to feast and relax w/o having to concentrate on not getting lost. Thanks to Chef John for operating the bbq and Vicky for manning the fort while we went hiking.

Raul is going to check his schedule..if he is free, we could assign him as BBQ chef unless there is someone else who really wants to be in charge of the grill

Ok so Raul does not have to work so we can put him as chef on the BBQ..should I pick up burgers, hot dogs, veggie dogs/patties and buns? Does someone want to volunteer to bring corn on the cob? What time should the cooking start?

Thank you, Raul! A lot of folks haven't said what they'll bring yet. I suspect someone else will have a main dish so you probably shouldn't bring all that. Sign up the hamburgers and wait and see. I'll bring stuff to fill in the blanks.

    Last night, I replied: maybe.
Then MeetUp tells me my reply went nowhere.
This morning, RSVP is closed. I remember glowing revues of the last Potluck. Lisa should be finished celebrating her birthday by the 26th..

I'm not sure why you saw a Maybe selection; MeetUp did away with that feature many months ago. As for the potluck RSVPs, I closed it until the 16th as I'm hoping for a weather forecast by then. I'd love to see you guys again. We'll have to have a belated birthday celebration as well. Happy Bday, Lisa!
