Walk ’n Rollers is proud to partner with S.A.F.E. in support of the Finish the Ride Holiday Challenge, a Ride, Walk ’n Roll Event for everyone.
Finish the Ride is an event born out of tragedy to call attention to the epidemic of hit and run crimes in Los Angeles. The Holiday Challenge is one of a series of fundraisers to support S.A.F.E an advocacy group seeking solutions to prevent hit and run crimes.
The Challenge features a slate of different events for families and beginners to weekend warriors and hardcore athletes. Run/Walks are chip-timed all around the Balboa Recreation Area, including the “Wilshire Law Firm” Rides cover the course of the Valley ranging from an easy 10 miles up to an exciting Metric Century.
All events are fully supported with pit stops and water stations, t-shirts, goodie bags, finishing medals, post ride expo and prizes!

The Holiday Challenge will take place at Woodley Park in the San Fernando Valley on Sunday, December 11, 2016. Walk ’n Rollers will be hosting a Kids Zone!
The Kids Zone will feature a variety of activities for kids of all ages. Kids will be able to work on arts and crafts, including making their own race plates, ride loops on our closed course in the tricycle derby and practice safety on our skills course.
Be sure to participate in the 10 Mile Fun Ride — This easy 10 mile ride is perfect for families, beginners and those interested in a casual ride. The path is flat and fully off the streets on a safe “Class One” bike path.

Those who participate in Finish The Ride sometimes do so after their own personal tragedy or in the name of others. No matter who or what they participate for, every participant helps to prevent further loss of life due to traffic fatalities — one of the leading causes of death in the United States.
