Join us on Triangle Land Conservancy preserves for discussion of leading environmentalists such as Aldo Leopold, Thomas Berry, Rachel Carson, and George Washington Carver. Discuss their writings while walking the beautiful trails that gently weave a path through the unique and diverse Piedmont ecosystems in each of seven nature preserves. From these giants, like Thomas Berry, we learn how to "participate creatively in the wildness of the world about us. For it is out of the wild depths of the universe, and of our own being, that greater visions must come."
Experience nature through Joseph Cornell's "flow learning" activities, designed to awaken your enthusiasm, focus your attention, offer direct nature experiences, and share your inspirations. "Flow Learning" is an internationally acclaimed environmental education method that we will use to immerse ourselves through our senses into the forest around us.
