Twin Coves - 4.25 Mile Cardio Hike
Due to the many bikers during our Saturday hikes, the Saturday morning Murrell Park Hike will be replaced with a hike at Twin Coves Park where there is less bike traffic. We will meet at across the street at the Coram Deo Academy. You have to enter the School from the side street and drive toward the back (due to parking construction) and drive around to the front where you will park. We will meet in the Parking Lot in front of the Academy. This is a 4.25 mile hike with lots of ups and downs. You should be fit to endure this hike (at least a 7 on a scale from 1-10) and be able to hike fast since we do 18-20 minute mile. You will work your thighs and legs. Due to the heat, be sure to bring some water with you, and a towel to dry the sweat plus dab something to keep the mosquitoes away if you are a mosquito magnet. If you don't like Off (like me), a good option is peppermint or lavender oil mixed with water in a sprayer bottle or Avon's Skin So Soft Bath Oil. We will meet at 8:25am and leave at exactly 8:30am. Please be sure to text via the meet-up group if you are running late or can't make it. That COURTESY is extremely important. See you at the trails! Please park at Coram Deo Academy and we will cross the street to Twin Coves. Below is their address: Coram Deo Academy ( 4900 Wichita Trail, Flower Mound, TX
