Get out and about at the weekends in glorious Surrey countryside . The idea of these walks is to have a great day out with good company . We hope to offer a good selection of walks from easy sociable walks to longer distances . Some walks will incorporate a Surrey pub for lunch , some will be picnic lunches and others will include interesting places to visit .
Go on you can do it !
One steep 20 minute path up to the top of Box Hill , but otherwise a thoroughly lovely walk .
It features a stream , stepping stones , panoramic views , a foley , and a log walk challenge (optional) .
We will stop at the tea hut on top of Box Hill ( ice cream's etc ) , have a look at Box Hill fort , find the grave of Major Peter Labelliere who was buried upside down , before a gentle sweep down ( the easy way ) with glorious views and back to Rykers car park .
It's £3 each please
Another of my favourite walks .
We start at the National Trust car park on top of Reigate Hill ( nearest postcode RH2 9RP )
Features of this walk include Reigate Fort , the B17 plane crash site , temple and stunning views from Colley Hill.
We may stop off at the Sportsman pub for refreshments if the weather permits.
£3 each please
