HELPFUL INFORMATION IF YOU ARE ON THE WAITING LIST
If you sign up for a Meetup and are placed on the WAITING LIST, you are assured of attending the Meetup if you so desire.
Let me explain. I close RSVP's 24 hours before a Meetup. At this point persons are no longer being automatically moved from the WAITING LIST to the ATTENDING LIST. I did this to prevent people from being moved from the WAITING LIST to the ATTENDING LIST only hours or even minutes before the start of a Meetup. This did not provide members with adequate time to attend and was unfair.
If you are on the WAITING LIST during these 24 hours prior to the Meetup, just message me and I'll manually move you from the WAITING LIST to the ATTENDING LIST. This is possible as there are always cancellations and no shows during these 24 hours. I’ve never said no to someone who messaged me and asked to attend a Meetup (during the last 7 months).
So remember, if you are on the WAITING LIST, you have the opportunity to attend - just message me.
