Culture & Heritage Tour to Myanmar with Curator- Enrollment Deadline 30 Nov 2019

When I first visited Myanmar in early 2018 I was fascinated by the many beautiful architectures that were left standing from history with many of them so well preserved. This is a country full of intriguing stories of history, culture and heritage, intensified by its previous closeness to the outside world. However, we realize that it is now changing in a faster pace following the opening of the country in recent years. So before it goes too commercial and noisy, would you like to see and know more about the original Myanmar? Starting from Yangon, we will go northward to travel through its history.

I am very glad to have invited Mr. Thuya Aung to be our curator in this tour. Mr. Aung obtained his Master Degree of Art and Archaeology from SOAS, University of London. His researches focus on cultural resources and heritage management, as well as public archaeology. He is one of the founding members of Myanmar Archaeology Association and is now a columnist in this area and a consultant to some heritage trusts in Myanmar.

A licensed travel agency is organizing this tour for us. We are looking for at least 20 people, and a maximum of 30 people, to realize this tour. If you are interested in joining you are most welcome to also bring your friends.

People who are interested will be put on waitlist. After paying 40% of tour fee as deposit before 30 Nov 2019 I will move you to "going". If by the date we don't have 20 people the tour will be cancelled and deposit will be fully refunded by travel agency.
