This group is for anyone interested in preventing disease through healthy environments. We are calling on all health conscious Torontonians who want to learn about women's health & environment issues to join us! Together we can make changes to create a world where we all live free of environmental health risks.

Our speakers and presenters will be discussing different aspects of wellness including: Physical and Body Confidence by Sarah Taylor, Personal Trainer & Plus Size Model The Secret to Lasting Change by Brigid Dineen, Resilience Coach for Women on a Mission Mind, Body and Soul by Julie-Anne Nayler, Pscyhotherapist & Motivational Speaker A Positive Outlook by Latoya Jackson, Influencer & Plus Size Model To celebrate Earth Month and Mother Earth's wellbeing, we'll have good-for-you and the environment raffles and a curated swag bag for you to take home so can continue to treat yourself and be kind to our planet! Sponsors include Iremia Skincare, a Toronto-based, cruelty-free, small batch skincare line (and winner of FASHION Magazine's Beauty Awards 2018 for Best Facial Oil). PLUS, bring your clothes and small items in need of some care - we’re hosting the Repair Cafe community of volunteers who can help you extend the life of your favourite things! O-M-G, this affects my health. I #WannaBeToxicFree! We will get down to the naked truth about the toxic chemicals we encounter in our daily lives, and what actions we can take to reduce exposure. This event is for 1) people who do not accept status quo and 2) people who believe that our actions can make the world a healthier place. Come to Women’s Healthy Environments Network #WannaBeToxicFree monthly event featuring different engaging speakers who highlight the links between our health and the environment. Why Come? Experience A-HA moments - new ideas, new perspectives, and new thoughts! Meet old and new friends who get you! Enjoy free delicious food (with a small environmental footprint, of course) - remember to bring your own glass/water bottle for drinks! We have an incredible line up of speakers being announced soon!
