What we're about

Meet other Mac, iPad, and iPhone enthusiasts at our monthly General Meeting in Fairfax or more frequent Clubhouse Saturday meetings in Bethesda. Anyone can attend. Come to learn about how to use your Mac and your Apple mobile devices. A grand opportunity to make new friends who share a common passion: Macs, Apple Mobile Devices and other Apple products.

Note: During the pandemic, we've gone whole hog to Zoom meetings. We don't include the actual Zoom invite here, but if you rsvp to an event and let us know that you haven't received the Pi member email with the invitation, we'll provide it to you.

June 2021 General Meeting of the Pi

Rob Pegoraro returns for his June summer visit to the Pi. We're still virtual, so sorry folks, no swag!

June 26, 2021, 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 pm. ET
Note: this will be a virtual meeting via Zoom live streamed to https://www.wap.org/live/. If you haven't received the Zoom invitation via our ApplePi email group or the TCS Forum, just RSVP to this meeting, and we'll message you with the invite.

These meetings take place usually on the 4th Saturday of the Month. They are the Pi's most formal meeting, usually with an interesting live or remote speaker. The meetings begin with a freewheeling Q&A panel, of Roy Wagner and Bruce Brown.

Virtual Washington Apple Pi Afternoon Learners SIG

Join us for our 2nd Thursday monthly work week virtual meeting of the Pi.

Afternoon Learners are members of Washington Apple Pi (https://wap.org/) who use this time and place to increase technical skill by sharing presentations of what they've found to make the mobile Apple device and Mac their favorite devices.

Specific agenda to follow!

We'll provide the Zoom invite to anyone who rsvps, and hasn't already gotten it through our membership channels.

About the SIG

The Afternoon Learners SIG welcomes anyone who has time available during the day. For that reason, our meetings take place from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM on the second Thursday of each month. There are occasions when meetings have to be shifted so please be sure to check the Pi calendar (https://www.wap.org/calendar/) for the latest information. We try to help our members get more enjoyment out of their iPhones and iPads by providing simple tutorials and demos and friendly collegial meetings.
