What we’re about
Welcome to the Ware board game club. \
We meet regularly at each other houses to play board games, miniatures games, role playing games and party games of all types. The group includes all age ranges and abilities so do not be afraid to come along and give something a try. Once a month we hold a larger get together where we set up a few different tables and play a few games in the one night. This is a good starting place to get to know people. If you are new to gaming check out boardgamegeek.com for the difficulty level of games if you are worried. Anything below 2.5 in weight is pretty simple to pick up. Most of us aren't in it to win it so let's just have fun and hang out with good people :) \
Hope to see you soon \

See all- A Boardgame Mashup! Leaside Community HallLeaside Church, Ware
A Board Game Mash-up @ Leaside Church Community Hall
People are welcome to bring along games they’d like to play or just bring themselves and join in with other peoples.
Whether you’re a boardgame veteran or are completely new and just think it might be fun, this is a relaxed way to meet new people. What do we play?
We like to try play a variety of games from simple but good games like Ticket to Ride, or quick party games to more complex Euros - generally nothing too heavy though. But feel free to make any suggestions!Hiring Fee & Conditions
Unfortunately the location is not free, so I will have to ask for £5 for the session to cover hiring the hall, and also help towards covering the Meet-up fee. Payment accepted either as cash on the night, or via PayPal afterwards (link can be sent to you after the event).
First session is free for anyone coming to their first Mash-Up.
Please note, the centre has a "No Alcohol Policy" so I'd ask people to stick to bringing soft drinks please.
Location info:
This is will be at a brand new location in Ware Town Centre at Leaside Church Community Centre (leaside church.org.uk). Please note the "How to find us" info, the Church is not accessible via Church Street!
The nearest car-park is in Kibes Lane, along East Street away from the High Street, then there's another Carpark at the other end of the high street, next to the Library. The car-parks are Pay and Display but free after 8pm. There is a drop-off space in front of the entrance alleyway. We have the Isabel A+B Room booked, entrance to the community centre is to the right of the Churches entrance. On entry, the Isabel A room is then to the right.
