Stick-Fighting based Fitness, Knife Defense, and Good Music!
RESERVATIONS: You can come train for a half hour, one hour, two hours--it's up to you and your schedule. The classes are $20 per hour, but YOUR FIRST 2 CLASSES ARE FREE--please come give it a try! DETAILS: The class will be a rotating mixture of stick-fighting fitness drills (to build coordination, proprioception, kinesthesia, coordination, agility, dexterity, mental focus, cardiovascular fitness, speed, power, form, flexibility, and much, much more)...stick-fighting drills will be followed by a mixture of target striking drills (defense against multiple attackers with an improvised weapon), empty handed knife defense training, and some brief discussion about tactics for defense in "active shooter" scenarios. We can almost guarantee that you will learn new skills to take home, get lots of practice with them, and get a great workout every single class. We provide training for two hours each session so that people who are coming from a distance can actually make their trip worthwhile. There is no beginner, intermediate, etc.--and sorry, we don't give out belts and prizes. We believe that finding the motivation internally--within yourself--is one of the key steps to mastery of these arts and of yourself. In other words, we're not just selling you a belt. We'll help you to build real SKILLS, FITNESS, and CONFIDENCE that no one can take away from you--now that's valuable! Don't worry if you've never done this kind of training before (few have), we are able to tailor the training to challenge and grow each individual--that's the art of teaching! Our training is adaptive and performance-based. We strongly believe that the benefits of these classes will far outweigh the price of admission and will be well worth your time and effort. Unlike other fitness classes, you'll actually be learning valuable new skills each and every class. You'll also be receiving our time, our teaching/motivation services, use of expensive perishable equipment, and extremely rare/unique knowledge of both fitness and self-defense skills training, weapons defense, and defense against all deadly forms of attacks. The more you train with us, the more skills you're going to get. And the sooner you start, the sooner you'll achieve great heights! Please come dressed appropriately for the weather and bring water. Throughout history, real warriors have all had something in common called the "Warrior Spirit." Now we're teaching this revolutionary training path to civilians for the betterment of our society. A stick happens to be the only piece of equipment required to get started with our low-impact workouts, and it makes for a great improvised self-defense weapon! But perhaps what's even more intriguing is that our unique stick-fighting drills provide a cutting-edge, natural form of "neuroplasticity," or gradual re-wiring of the brain--literally making you more coordinated, more focused, and able to learn new skills more quickly. Our drills are the perfect foundation for any military, law enforcement, protective security, or civilian fitness training program.

When will you ever lift a kettlebell or curl a barbell in the course of protecting yourself or others? Probably never. But you WILL have to have attributes like great striking speed, power, endurance, footwork, balance, coordination, dexterity, timing, mental focus, emotional control, and situational awareness. Our training builds all of these as efficiently and effectively as possible!
