Short Talks by Warwick useRs

Details
This month we are planning a meeting comprising a series of short talks contributed by Warwick R User Group members. Based on feedback from our industrial useRs, we will be meeting in the evening rather than during the day.
We will have several short talks, followed by discussions. Those of us keen to continue the discussion will then head to a nearby pub for social chat, beeRs etc.
To make this event possible we need some of you to volunteer to present. Each talk can be 10 minutes or shorter, on whatever theme you like: for example, an interesting package you've seen, a quick coding tip, a problem you solved (or intend to solve) using R, or a general data science topic you'd like to discuss with the group.
A couple of tentative proposals so far:
• Where to find R help / writing reproducible examples - Ella Kaye
• Tips for writing reports in R - David Selby
• What is 'open source'? - Prof David Firth
If you are interested in contributing, please let us know!
