Stefan Stein — Around the World in 64 Hops

When visiting a page on the Internet, your request doesn't go directly from your laptop to the web site; instead it jumps from one server to another, across the globe, until it eventually reaches the destination. Stefan shows us how to map this journey with R.

David Selby — Making Less Repulsive Plots with ggrepel

This leads into an informal discussion where attendees each take a minute to share an R package or function that they find particularly useful or interesting. No slides necessary.
