We're Hosting a Tour of Takoma Village Cohousing ...Virtually of Course!

Almost a year ... we're still buttoned up. And, we still miss showing off our community while spreading the good word about cohousing.

If you would like to learn more about cohousing in general and Takoma Village in particular, please sign up to attend online. You will receive a confirmation email. Click on "See event details" in the confirmation email to access the online event link.

We will cover all the information and you’ll see all of the common spaces we normally cover during an in-person tour — with plenty of time for Q&A.

Want to get a head start? Check out our Takoma Village website for special information for people interested in living here:

Juniper Hill Commons cohousing: Information Session

Online event

Join a cohousing neighborhood in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley!

RSVP for the info session at: https://juniperhillcommons.org/info-session

Just 2 hours southwest of Washington D.C., we’re a multi-generational group building homes in Harrisonburg, Virginia, a small university city of ~54,000 people, nicknamed “The Friendly City”. It’s a great place to raise kids, with a dual language public school program available (half day taught in Spanish, half in English), the nationally acclaimed Shenandoah Valley Children’s Choir, and the rockin’ Explore More Children’s museum.

Our group is an artsy, sustainably-minded, social-justice oriented, garden-growing, fun-loving group of mostly introverts. Even so, we're looking forward to common meals, fire-pit chats, art parties, movie watching, lego building, plant-swapping and just chillin' on the front porches together. We’re planning to break ground this summer (2021) and start moving in 2022.

Interested in hearing more? Learn about our neighborhood plans and meet some of your potential neighbors at our online Information Session! Sign up below and we’ll send you the details you need to join the presentation.
