Hello Fellow Freegans!
I have yet to go "Diving" with others, but quite some time have been doing it solo. I was living in DC, but 2 months ago I moved back to NJ. I just find regular Dumpsters to get what I need. In the suburbs of Jersey the dumpsters are a lot more accessable than in the city, where they are sometimes locked
Or inside where you can't get to them. I get a lot of stuff, mostly food from CVS dumpsters. Cookies, cereal, eye drops, Prevacid etc. I have a "Pizza" dumpster that I goto an hour or so after the pizzeria closes, lots of different ones for bagel. Last night I got tons of candy from a Walgreens. The point is that you don't need to follow others when it comes to Dumpster Diving. You can figure out your own route. Also, when I lived in DC I was going to meet others for Dives, but I really didn't want to travel far to do it. All the spots I goto are local and usually on my way back home. Feel free to give me any feedback, any tips and advice to [address removed]
Peace,
Rich

>Hello Freegans! It's been soooo long. I truly apologize to all the members for this long silence. I've been having a very rough semester. Taking organic chemistry and physics together is not easy let me tell you :). But anyways, I don't think I will be able to organize any meet ups before the end of the semester. If some members want to get in small groups and dive together or give advice to new divers that would be great. I haven't been answering my emails for a while now and I also apologize for that. Please feel free to email me with any questions and I'll do my best to answer your email within 48hrs.Stay WarmMother Nature
