Global Reddit Meetup Day

has been announced for June 17, 2017.

We'll be having a potluck picnic starting at Quincy Park @ 12:00 PM!

(Please no alcohol! Virginia parks do not allow alcohol!)

This event will be a huge BBQ/Field Day at Quincy Park. It is metro accessible.

There are NO alcoholic or illegal substances allowed at this event. Offenders will be beerboarded.

For those 21+, we'll be heading to a bar after the Meetup; Details below.

The event is potluck/donation based. You do not have to do either but it would be greatly appreciated to offset the high cost of this event. This is the eighth annual global meetup day. We see between 100 - 350 Attendees.

The organizers will be bringing basic supplies upfront and collecting donations on the day of the event.

Please bring food for at least 2 - 4 people. There are a lot of people attending, and we want everyone to be able to eat. If you can't bring food due to other commitments, please consider contributing $$$ so the organizers can purchase supplies as needed. (There is a Giant a few blocks away)

Please be courteous to the other guests at the park.

In addition, please bring pre-cooked foods, we want to reduce grill time, and increase MINGLING time!

If you have any folding chairs, or tables, please bring them! If you wish to help setup, we'll be at Quincy around 11:30 AM.

Drinking/Bar Crawl: There is NO drinking at Quincy Park. However, we will be going to O' Sullivan's Irish Pub after the meetup for all sorts of tasty alcoholic concoctions. It's located just a located a few blocks away from Quincy park around Clarendon. We're going to head there early this year due to rain.

Quincy Park (1201 N Quincy St, Arlington, VA) is a short walk from the Virginia Square/GMU Metro, and also has a parking lot and street parking nearby.
