The Waterloo Watercolor Group (WWG) is a nonprofit organization of water media artists in Austin and Central Texas since 1977. Our mission is to advance the practice and appreciation of watercolor and water media painting through education. WWG offers its members a wide array of opportunities to develop and express their artistic talents including:

Third Thursday Zoom, Jan. 20th. Learn how to frame your artwork.

Framing your own art is a vital artist's skill. It can save you time and money. Do you want to learn how? New artist members are encouraged to attend this meeting featuring basic framing skills. Includes a short video about framing your own art: 1) What tools do you need? 2) What hardware do you need, ie. D-rings, screws, hanging wire, offset clips? 3) Where do you buy this stuff? 4) How do you install D-rings, wire, offset clips to your frame? Followed by a discussion about local and online vendors, Mat boards, Pre-made frames, Glass/Plexi-glass. Good stuff! Save the date. Learn something new!
