Bring a flask and a deck chair and watch the celestial light show. Or if you have a camera with a tripod take some photographs of the night sky.

The Perseid meteor shower happens every year and can be quite spectacular. The peak display is between the 12th - 13th August there will be some moonlight (quarter). I usually go out every year watching them and you can see around 50 to 80 an hour. Back in 2016, there was 80 - 100 an hour.

The above photograph was taken a few years ago, but there was a bright moon which ruins the photographs.

Hopefully, the weather will do its part and give us clear skies, if it's cloudy then the event will be cancelled and refunds will be given.

I will be giving tips on getting great shots of the stars

If you are coming in from the Metropolitan line tube station then the last train is at 12.30am back Wembley Park where you can get the night busses. The last train from Watford Junction to Euston is 12.45.

The Metropolitan station is 5 - 10 min away from the park with Watford Junction 35min on foot.

Wrap up warm it is usually cold, we will meet at the hub at 10pm.

Cost : £4
